Greetings everyone!
The golf course is in fantastic
condition this season. Our new Superintendent, Patrick Nunn, has done a
great job. Hats off to Patrick and his crew, Bob Goettle and Dan Shrock.
With the late start for the golf season
due to the severe weather issues we have been extremely busy this
summer, and we want to keep up that momentum up. Come out and see us
and bring your friends!
Congratulations go to Mel McCall and
Randy Brown for their win in the Bob Rice Memorial Tournament in July.
Everyone who played had a great time and the format was very fun!
Coming events are the Labor Day Classic
on August 30 and 31 and the Granny Lueck Charity Scramble on September
6.
Aerification of the greens is scheduled
for September 8. The course will be closed to all play on that day.
This is a necessary event for the condition of the course. It takes
just a few days to heal and after that they are in great shape. We
still have some great fall weather to enjoy the course! Fall golf
brings great temperatures and a less crowded course!
Looking forward to seeing you all at
the course!
Sincerely,
Patrick Stoltz
